Father,
We surrender to You those who are overwhelmed with feelings of loneliness. Please comfort them and fill their hearts with Your peace. Help them to know and believe that You are there all the time and that You have promised never to leave us.
We pray that Your Holy Spirit would touch their hearts. Protect their minds from feelings of bitterness and resentment due to experiences of rejection and abandonment. Help them to know Your truth in who they are. You have searched us and You know us. You know when we sit and when we rise; You perceive our thoughts from afar. Draw the lonely closer to You. May they get to know and love You more and more, for You alone can fill the aching void in their life.
Fill their hearts and minds with courage and strength to move in step with You.
